| ACCOMODATION
01. All resident's are required to keep their rooms clean & tidy and to conduct themselves in such a way that common area such as dining room, sitting room, bathrooms & toilets are also kept clean and in good order50. They are expected to contribute for creation of homely feeling atmosphere.
02. Clothes are to be washed only in bathroom.
03. Calling Bell is not permitted in the rooms.
04. All residents will be held responsible for the care of hostel property. Furniture must not be removed from rooms. Any breakage and damage must be promptly reported to the Hostel Warden. Repair cost may be recovered from the residents, where it is clear that the misuse is attributable to residents.
05. The college authority will not be responsible for the safety of resident's property including valuables. Residents are advised to keep their valuables under lock and key and lock their rooms when they are not in use.
06. The College authority reserves the right to enter into and search residents room without notice but in their presence.
07. No additional electrical appliances are permitted in the rooms. Lights and fan will be switched off when not in use.
LIBRARY
Rastogi College of Nursing has a well equipped library with all the Medical Nursing books & journals. It is open from Monday to Saturday.

MEALS
01. All the students are required to join the mess.
02. The meal time will be adjusted according to classes or duty hours.

VISITORS
01. No visitors shall enter at the gate of female hostlers without permission of Principal / Warden.
02. Residents are also required to limit noise during day time and while staff & students are studying or sleeping.
03. Visting is permitted every on Saturday from 05.00 to 07.00 pm and every Sunday from 07.00 am to 05.00 pm
04. Each visitor must sign the Visitors Book on arrival & on leaving time.
05. All visits must take place in the visitors room only.
06. Visitors are not permitted to enter into any residents room at anytime under any circumstances.
07. Before allotment of rooms, a form will be signed by parents / local guardian to give the names of those people:
a. Who may visit the student.
b. From whom the students may receive letters, etc.
c. The names of the people whose homes, the students is allowed to visit.
08. For Local Student, only parents can be local guardians. However, if both parents are staying outside Bhilai/Durg/Rajnandgaon, Local Guardian should be married couple. Two Photos of their Guardian, i.e., (Mother & Father) are required to be submitted. |

GENERAL RULES
01. Student shall wear prescribed uniform while on duty.
02. The student shall observe all rules, and disciplines of the hostels, college and hospital.
03. The student shall undergo practical training in Government Hospital (Durg and Rajnandgaon), Community Health Centre, Apollo BSR Hospital (Bhilai), Suyash Hospital (Raipur) and students will be posted in Speciality Ward during advanced study.
04. Besides training, the students are expected to participates in all extra curricular activities such as sports, Cultural, Programmes, academic activities and field studies arranged by the College / Nursing faculty.
05. Every student of the college shall at all times be of good behavior and take proper interest in studies as well as in extra-curricular activities.
06. When a student has been found guilty of breach of discipline within or outside the premises of the college or an institution or misconduct, the Head of college may according to nature and gravity of the offence:
a. Suspend such student form attending classes for not more than a week at a time.
b. expel such students from the college or
c. Disqualify such student from entering examination or
d. rusticate such students.
07. A Candidate shall have minimum 80% attendance in Theory and Practical in each subject for appearing in examinations.
08. A Candidate must have 100 % attendance in each of the practical area before award of degree.
09. Before inflicting any punishment as aforesaid, the Head of the Institution shall give the student concerned an opportunity or personal hearing and record the reasons of inflicting the punishment in writing, with power to temporary suspension pending enquiry.
10. Student trying to attempt or commit any kind of harm to his/her person or suicide, authorities of the college, hostel & hospital will not be held responsible.
11. A student who has been rusticated shall not be admitted to another institution with in the jurisdiction or the university with in the period or rustication.
12. The rustication of a student from an institution shall entail the removal of his / her name from the register of enrolled student.
13. Hostel Facility has been arranged by the college. Details can be obtained from the management
14. Medical expenses of students will be done by themselves only. Local guardians/parents will bear the entire cost & responsibility during sickness.
15. Management advises to vaccinate the students as per schedule, cost of which will be arranged by students. Immunization against common communicable diseases is compulsory.
16. Bus Facility will be provided to students during Classes and Clinical Hours.
17. Railway concession is available to students as per Govt. rules.
18. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited with in the college hostel & hospital premises.
19. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Those found guilty shall be rusticated.
20. Cheating during examination may lead to suspension/ rustication.
21. Student are required to deposit the hostel fee including mess and other charges @ 36,000/- p.a. at least 50% (18,000/-) of this amount must be paid in advance at the time of admission Hostel/Mess fees is to be deposited in the first week of every month, failing which will be charged by late fee.
22. University Enrolment fee, Eligibility & Examination Fees shall have to be paid separately, Clinical charges are also payable on Monthly basis to the hospitals for getting clinical exposure Various Speciality exposure.
23. Students are required to give an agreement in the shape of a bond for the payment of total amount of fee and other charges for the whole course i.e. payable for 4 year course of B.Sc. (N) Thus if student discontinues the course in the middle, he/she is liable to pay the balance amount of fee and other charges of the whole course to the college.
24. The college reserves the right to make additions or alternation of the existing rules, working hours, time table, fee structure and made of training as may be deemed necessary from time to time.
25. Principal reserves the rights to rusticated the student found indulging in acts prejudicial to the interest of institution or involved in gross indiscipline or immoral act.
If any of the rules mentioned are not followed the institute has right to take action as well as to terminate the candidate.
In case of any dispute, the decision of Principal will be final. Jurisdiction for all purposes shall be limited to Durg court only.
